Scott's Soccer Practice Bars

We found this recipe on a bag of some WF baking product and loved it.  One of the things I like about it is that it does not require corn syrup nor sweetened condensed milk that many of these sorts of recipes usually use.  Sometime I'll make these again and add a picture for you.

Scott's Soccer Practice Bars

1/2 C. Butter
1/2 C. Brown Sugar
1/2 C. Sugar
1 Egg
1/3 C. Peanut Butter
1/2 t. Baking Soda
1/2 t. Salt
1 C. Flour
1 C. Old Fashioned oats
1 C. Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips

Icing - combine and set aside
1/2 C. Powdered Sugar
2 T. Peanut Butter
2 T. Milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cream butter and sugars. Add egg and peanut butter and mix well. Stir in soda,
salt, flour and oatmeal.   Press into a 9" x 13" baking pan. Sprinkle chocolate
chips over top.

Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and
drizzle with icing.
Cool completely. Cut into squares and serve.

Makes 24 squares.
