Economics Training on the Go!

Since homeschooling is a way of life, vacation is part of it! Recently, we went to Rifle, Colorado when it was blazing hot. We all wanted ice ream but we had less cash this trip.

Clever hubby to the rescue! He stopped in at Wal-mart, grabbed two of our favorite flavors of ice cream, a cheap scoop, and a box of cones then headed to the park!

We not only fed all eight of us for the price two at a fancy ice cream shop but we didn't have to hang around in a cramped space! What a great lesson in economics! :)
